The Copenhagen Pride Parade has taken place since 1996 and attracts thousands of participants. The parade runs through the central parts of the city, ending at the city’s main square with a huge concert. During Pride, the award, Salmon of the year is awarded to someone who has gone against the stride. In 2004 the prize was given to the Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
